Refurbishment and alterations of existing student accommodation into a Health Science Centre and associated external works. Quantity Surveying services from contract selection, pre-contract estimating and reporting, through to post-contract valuations.

Construction of a new primary school on a greenfield site incorporating ecological design principles. The project was completed in time for the new academic year and received design awards.

We were involved in the two phases of this new build for an eight-classroom school on a greenfield site serving a new community development. The school is fully equipped with multiple facilities such as a catering capacity, multi-use hall, administrative offices, and well landscaped gardens with a games field on the outside of the premises.

The buildings are traditionally styled single storey with facing brickwork, a tiled roof, aluminium windows, and external doors. This airy school fits well within its new community development. The second phase of our works on this school involved an additional six-classroom extension and glazed link to incorporate a technological suite, with matching materials from Phase One.

Creation of a new centre housing the Finance and Business Academy, Art, Design and Media, and a Hair and Beauty department. The building features a triple-height atrium and flexible teaching spaces, shortlisted for the RIBA South Award 2018.

Construction of a new single-storey classroom block and shared facilities over two levels. The project also included demolition works, removal of temporary classrooms, and associated external works.

Conversion of two Halls of Residence into teaching facilities delivered in phased construction. Significant structural interventions were required to comply with Building Regulations for change of use, including a critical steel frame installation. The project followed a negotiated two-stage contract process.
